Losted all my food they only give me and my son $16 but spent $160 on food losted milk meat everything calling tomorrow tomorrow hoping they can help replace part of it power has to be out 12 hours to replace. - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆The job and family service office hours are not conducive to my work schedule. It is nearly impossible to reach anyone on the phone here. Applying for assistance is a painstakingly tedious (and sometimes embarrassing) process as it is. So, when I'm able to manage some time off work to come get the paperwork and physically turn it in to the office, it is disheartening to be treated condescendingly. This office should consider, at the very least, opening phone lines to real people who can answer simple questions. Staying open until 5-5:30, or a half day on Saturday, would also help applicants. Maybe making the website more user-friendly might be a solution, as well.By Chelsea Campbell, December 25, 2016
